This feature allows property managers to automate access control for individual units, streamlining the check-in/out process, enhancing security, and improving the overall guest experience. Follow this guide to enable a unit for EasyHub Smart Lock API integration directly within MAPRO PMS.
Step 1: Ensure Prerequisites are Met
Before proceeding with the integration, ensure:
You have an active EasyHub account with the necessary licenses
Your MAPRO PMS account is set up and accessible.
You have access to the EasyHub administrator portal.
Activate Your MAPRO Properties with EasyHub
Navigate to your MAPRO account settings to activate the EasyHub Services.
1. Activate the EasyHub services
After you have clicked the "Activate Button" you will be able to visualize the EasyHub services board on the screen.
2. Enable the EasyHub door lock for each unit
On the Unit Details page, look for the Smart Lock option in the left-hand menu (marked with a red indicator for easy identification).
3. Enable Smart Lock API Integration
In the Smart Lock section, locate the checkbox labeled:
"I would like to add this property to the EasyHub Smart Lock API."
"Send data from this property to the EasyHub smart lock API" should be already checked at this stage.
Check the box to enable the integration for the selected unit.
4. Save the Configuration
Click the Save button (highlighted in green) to apply the changes and activate the integration.
Repeat these steps for all other properties you want to integrate with EasyHub.
5. Integration Confirmation
Once saved, the unit is successfully enabled for the EasyHub Smart Lock API. This integration will automate the generation of door lock codes for each reservation, seamlessly syncing them directly from the EasyHub Door Lock through the MAPRO system.
Once your unit is activated with the EasyHub Door Lock, the randomly generated door lock codes for your reservation will appear within your reservation details, as shown in the image below:
